So I don’t usually post “personal issues” but I’m having a problem with my decision; which I have made it up. I’m 20. I don’t know how my parents feel about me moving out of the state to Va. only because I lived in NY, all my life. (I’m from SC) and they don’t think I’ll make it on my own... when I’m moving down to va to be with my boyfriend... of whom I known all my life, 20 years, and we been in a good place of a relationship, and I don’t think i have ever been so sure of anything in my life. I graduate with my English major in May, I’ll be using that to get my CDI(Certified Deaf Interpreter License) I don’t know why my parents are so scared, their excuse since I turned 20 is always “you can make your own decisions” and here I am, not ready to make it official, but dreading to tell them. I have applied to like 5-6 jobs down there, where I have graduated from high school with a regent diploma and most of the time jobs don’t need a college degree. I’m so ready...
