These may seem like ordinary pennies, well they are, but these pennies were put in a plastic easter egg that was put in Paige's Easter Basket during an Easter Egg hunt. The problem: if/when Pennies are ingested by kids, dogs, or cats, and many other animals; it is VERY toxic and can lead to death. Pennies are pretty and were placed in a basket full of pretty candy, and a smaller child than Paige may not ask what these are and could eat them.

I don't understand the point of giving kids Easter egg baskets?
Ok so I'm constantly seeing people complaining about people out shopping for nonessential items and risking the spread of this virus. But I need to get Easter baskets & stuff to put in my kid's Easter baskets. Are y'all Easter shopping or what? I don't even have baskets bc we always go to my sister's for the weekend so we just leave them at her house. I can't find anything I need on Amazon everything is out of stock that I wanted except this one book for my son. What's everyone else doing?

@tyrellp, oh, I am not offended, I just want people to be aware. Once you have seen something die from eating a penny it sticks with you. I think Money can be a great idea for older kids, but these were all very young kids.
