My son has a temperature of 101 , just gave him more Tylenol. Should i just take him to the doctors?…

Keep rotating between ibu and ty for the times the bottles say. Believe it or not a fever is a good sign. Tells you that he is fighting it. A 104 fever or higher take him in. Try like warm baths as well to keep fever down. Popsicles and water!

At 4 months he should really only be taking infant tylenol... If his fever doesn't go down by tomorrow then I'd take him to get looked at but they usually say the same thing, just give him Tylenol and liquids

What @ladyblauvelt.skysmomma said. No Ibuprofen before 6 months unless your pedi says so. I'd also give your nurses line a call regardless since he's still fairly young

Definitely call your pediatricians on call tonight and see what they say because he’s little. My pedi told me to still use 100.4 as a “fever” at this age. In the meantime I agree with @ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, I would stick to Tylenol and offer some extra milk/formula to keep hydrated. Definitely make sure he’s still making plenty of wet diapers, soft spot isn’t sunkin in, pee isn’t super dark or have an odor, etc. A lukewarm bath is good too!

I called the advice nurse and she said the same thing , just give Tylenol which i did and it seemed to help but this is his 2nd day with a fever. Yesterday it was 99 now it’s 101. 😭

@angelina_cxoxo, I would take him in if it’s his second day with a fever Ariah was going thru the same couple days ago and she has an upper respiratory infection which is dangerous for younger babies!

@angelina_cxoxo if no change by to tomorrow morning, take him to either his pediatrician or the ER if his doctors office isn't open
