So, as i’ve posted before, we haven’t really been letting anyone see madi since she’s been home from the NICU due to it being flu season. I saw on facebook my boyfriends step mom posting about how she’s SO sick with bronchitis and can’t even get up or move. He got a text today asking if they can see her on sunday. How RUDE are they to ask to see her when she’s that sick. Helllllllllll no. Besides the fact that I haven’t heard from them since she was born so i don’t want them going anywhere near her anyways.

A week after my daughter got out of the NICU (she'd been there for a month because she was born at 30 weeks) my boyfriends mom told him that if we don't bring my daughter over to meet her, she'd take us to court. Needless to say, my daughter is 6 months old now and still hasn't nor will ever meet the woman. It's your child. My baby wasn't going out at 4 pounds at the risk of her getting sick and you definitely know not to let a baby go near someone who's been sick recently! If she doesn't like it, oh well.

Omg the same thing happend to me and my husband a friend of ours ask to see our daughter and then posted 5 min later on fb that she’s sick with possible flu my husband called her out so fast and we were like hell no .... we aren’t letting anyone see her until she’s had her shots and after flu season

I didn't let anyone with my oldest. Can't take the risk. We were going to let my husband's mom see her when we got home. We lived in the same building at the time. He went downstairs and she was trashed. This was after she went to rehab and said she was sober. We cut her out of our lives. Only recently we do once a month visits. Tomorrow she'll meet her second grandchild. It's going to be warm out so we're going to the park.
My aunt tried to meet my youngest sick. She called my dad for my address. He wouldn't give it since she was sick as a dog the day before at a wake they went to.
