Has anyone ever skipped the whole baby shower tradition ?
I’m afraid I might not have one for my little guy, due to the fact I’m running out of time and everything just isn’t going the way I expect it to go. All the places are booked and I’m starting to just give up on searching.

I learned it’s ok not to be ok thanks to @leonardsquared, I’m going to try remembering that whenever I feel like I’m failing as a mom because I can’t do the things I used to do.....I’m just sick of feeling sick 😔
Hey I’m 26 with two children #myfirstpost Okay I’ll be real and explained why I joined, I didn’t know I could be looked up or anyone would actually see this post, I was informed someone I know has been stealing pics and I came to look and see what’s going on if any of mine were on there or anyone else I knew. I just typed until it let me post since it was required before I could look around on the app.
I’m getting induced Thursday morning if I don’t go into labor by then. Got checked today and I’m 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I hope the baby will be ok since I’m just 37 weeks.

I was thinking of having a welcoming party after he was born so they could literally shower the baby.

I had one at the beginning of August and had my baby the end of August and ended up having it right in the backyard my apartment complex with just a few close friends and the rest family

I had all of mine at my home, or a friend's home, and actually I didn't host my own because it's bad luck!!

I did with my second child. I don’t believe in having one with each child. The first one you get lots of items needed. If you having another child you should hold on to the items to be used again. Unless the second child is if different sex. My first 2 were boys 2 yrs apart so no I didn’t but this one 8 years later and a girl yes
