You can. The hairdresser is right the color might not come out how you wanted because of your hormones

@fdnybabygirl, omg yes when the lady told me I was like well why am I going to pay a arm and a leg and it don’t work you know so I was thinking just doing it myself but no bleaching since I don’t know if it’s good to do while pregnant

@madalynnelenamom2016 the fumes are and the chemicals R, if u dye the roots. If u stay away from dying roots and go to a mall salon, where fumes escape better, I'm told it's ok.

@madalynnelenamom2016, of course it did! I mean im a baldhead so i bleach it w a low volume. Did it 2/3 x’s week.

@lnkedupmommy, omg that’s awesome I need mine done because my hair was super long but when I bleached it it faded away and it was so dead so I cut it to my neck and now I really need to see what color would be nice because it looks so not cute lol

you can. they say not to because of the hormones, it may not come out as it would if you weren’t pregnant. I learned that in beauty school. no harm to baby at all

@madalynnelenamom2016, I’m not sure about bleaching; I’ve never bleached my hair. But I was told dye was safe as long as it’s in a well-vented area or you can open a window

They say not to but I colored mine it took but it didn't stay long

I kept asking the same thing and then after all the researching I realized it's not going to do any harm and went and did my hair! My hair has never been dyed before but I just got it done 2 days ago and it came out just the way I wanted! The fumes were pretty intense so I wore a face mask just in case

My red took great. Actually better than when not pregnant.
