Is it terrible that I don’t want to do a natural birth. I had a pretty traumatic first birth with my son. I think this time I’d rather have a c-section. Just thinking out loud today. I haven’t even talked to my husband about this yet and it’s still really early. Thanks for listening (reading really).

I completely understand your fear girl! My recovery from delivering my daughter naturally has been absolutely horrible and I have to go to an out of state specialist once a week which is taking a toll on me! If I get pregnant again I would be terrified to deliver! To be honest I’m terrified to get pregnant again because of it!
You will do what you think is best for you mentally and physically. I hope your husband and medical team support your decision.

I understand. After the hell I went through with my youngest, it’s sounds great. Only thing is, my epidural failed so a c section would be a very bad idea. C sections are harder to heal from too. But one does sound good

@housewifelife, thanks. This is after almost 12 years. My oldest is amazing and I wouldn’t trade any of the pain for anything for him. I just am not sure I can do that again. But you’re right I will do what’s best for me at the right time.

@amberspringer, yeah my epidural didn’t work either. I literally had my kid with no meds and I tore so bad and had the episiotomy. I am not looking forward to any of that again.

@gypsymomma, same and I was induced. I tore all the way up under my clit. It was hell. But the stitches didn’t hurt like with my first baby which was beyond amazing. They say they don’t hurt after the first. So just know, if you do vaginal this time, you will probably have a better experience. I’m too scared for the c section cause they use the epidural for it.

@amberspringer, thanks for the info. I know seconds are easier cause our bodies remember. It’s just a scary thought at this time and I’m having a hard time coping.

@gypsymomma, I understand. I’m scared about this one too. But I know it’s not forever and it will be over sooner than later. Just hate how the times drags when you are in agony
