pretty sure i have postpartum depression 😪 i’ve been struggling with depression half my life anyway and this just isn’t helping. i can no longer convince myself im ok...going to see about getting back on medication at my appointment next week. i really wanted to be ok ugh

@heidi3581, id be getting paid to go. im going for the money so i have to cause i need it and my parents want me to finish

@lavender13, if you have to put school on hold I would. Don’t feel bad or guilty about it being a mom is a full time job and you need to be there for your baby. Good luck mama

@heidi3581, thanks. it’s just i didn’t plan on being a single mother. my lease is almost up so im apartment hunting but also trying to get set up to start school full time in august. i don’t think i can do any of it but im going through the motions

I had horrible ppd/anxiety after my son was born. I was put on celexa until he was about 6 months and then I just managed on my own. It definitely made the first year very difficult but seeing your little one grow makes the pain worth it 💛 I’m always around if you need someone to talk to.

It’s super hard get help if you need it ppd and pp anxiety is very real especially if you had it before baby. Lots of new changes in your life happening will make it worse. Mine got the worst when my son was about 5-10 months. That was a very rough time and looking back I should’ve asked for help never be afraid to ask for help. Our babies need us mentally healthy
