Help !!! How do I deal with a neighbor that’s in the apartment under mines that plays loud music 🎶 constantly every day…

Talk to them! This happened to me but I lived above them and they can hear us walking around and when we would play music. They left a note on our "car" complained to the landlord and called police multiple times, and we have a 5 year old. We tried respecting that they live under us but we aren't going to walk on egg shells you know! We couldn't help it 💁🏽 and they were younger than us 🙄 they eventually stoped their nonsense then became cool about the situation. But we are moved now!

@ralphina94 I'd record everything! I'd call the cops over and over again too... You have the right to...

@keeks24, they complain that my kids foot make noise too n I can’t help it that I have younger Kids .. I do my best to keep them from making much noise too ...

@beerus, I told him n he said call the cops and let them deal wit it that’s what my landlord said ... they been playing it louder then ever since they know it gets to me ... I mean am pregnant 🤰 reasons why I am not taking it too harshly

If it’s after 8 pm, it’s a noise ordinance violation in most cities. Call the police and they should be able to cite them... if they open the door.

@ralphina94, ultimately, if you feel unsafe or if the place is unlivable, you can break your lease without penalty. I dealt with crappy neighbors for years. When I had enough documentation of these issues, I just left. Constantly bug the landlord. He *has* to do something! If not, you can complain to your city.
