Ladies I need advice. My daughter is three. Everytime we try transitioning her out of the crib she ends up waking 3 or so times a night as opposed to sleeping through the night in her crib. Would you keep trying to get her to sleep in her big girl bed or would you just leave her in a crib?
@_sheriee maybe switch her to the crib and gradually talk her into the bed
@verguinia , he's 5 months now. Do you think I should switch her back to the crib? I don't want to overwhelm her
Omg you had the baby already !!! That totally makes sense now it's too many changes for her at the moment a new bed and baby it's her acting out of attention
She's currently screaming nonsense. I went in, gave her some water, and scratched her head till I thought she was asleep but once I left she started again. She's not crying she's screaming about how she wants to play and something about a snowman eating cake lol. She woke the baby up again. Any tips on how to get her to calm down and understand it's time to sleep? She's naturally a loud kid but craaaap it's 4 am 😥@verguinia @girlmom.
But give her time when her new bed starts sinking in and she gets used to it I'm sure the problem will go away also !
@_sheriee yes and maybe a bed time story on YouTube would work I do that with my daughter
She's never slept with us though. Ever. Not even in the same room. When she's in bed with us she thinks it's play time. Should I try sitting by her door and telling her it's okay till she falls asleep? @verguinia
Try putting her bed closer to yours and gradually moving it. It's not the bed that's the problem it's the sleeping far from her parents in a new bed !
She has a soothing hippo that plays lullabies and does the projection thingy. Yes, she does. She's had the same routine since she was 1. She falls asleep fine but it's just in the middle of the night she'll wake up full force lol. I have no idea what to do. @girlmom.
@_sheriee, have a night light? White noise machine? My girls have a moving light thing that makes stars on the ceiling- they really like it and they take turns picking the color every night. Does she go to sleep around the same time every night?
Yes, it has the rails now. There's only a tiny little open part for her to fit through. She's currently crying "mommy's bed". Thing is when I let her in she would not stop talking which resulted in her brother waking up over and over since his crib is in my room. @girlmom.
Have you tried putting bed rails on the side to make if kinda feel like a crib?
Co sleeping...yay or nay? Lately Molly hasn't want to sleep in her crib and sleep with us. Which is fine but we do want her to sleep in her crib
Which one would you prefer a crib or bassinet ?
What would you do with $25,000
If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
Baby sleeping in their room?
How many of yalls babies are sleeping in their own room already? This is my baby's 3rd night alone in her room. She does GREAT! Sleeps better and longer in her crib. I wasn't planning on letting her sleep alone yet but my husband put her to sleep one night and put her in her room. We were both thinking she'll wake up soon and then I'll just put her in the bassinet in our room. Well, she never woke up until 7:30am ?. I was shocked! She would usually wake up twice at...
