When introducing a baby to cows milk is it normal for poo to be abit runny and smelly? Or am I facing lactose intolerance here!?
I don't see why it would affect your poo Laura if your introducing it to a baby
@chesscalouise regular milk... but...
It's always been suspected as hes had terrible silent reflux all his life!!
Asked the hv today and she said maybe its the weatabix being high fiber but i dunno xxx
If he had lactose intolerance he would of been born with it what milk was he on before cows milk x @laurabump27
@emilyjayne27 he has yogurt and cheese fine doesn't bother him xxx
Try him with something else that has milk in it. Usually with a milk allergy they outgrow it by 1 3 or 5 years of age xxx
@ezchaz oh God I dunno.. I know they can grow out of it.
Let's hope they dont have any issues at 1 xxx
@laurabump27 if its not runny like water its probably because he's just getting used to it but Liam's was like that abit lose and smelly and went back normal after a week or so if it doesn't change just ask your doctor in case xxx
Is there anything else changed in his diet? If you suspect an allergy you can always self refer cxx
@becky1111 was they still like hard poos? It's not like water but its more like a newborn nappy again! Xxx
@ezchaz I've always suspected allergies with his terrible reflux and they said no!!! God I dunno now :( he seems fine with cheese and yogurts though! What's Charlies symtoms? Xxx
Liam had a smelly nappies but his was more hard don't worry sound like he getting use to it he should be fine in a week or so :) xxx
@ezchaz oh god hes nearly one in stressing now what do i do if he is?
He's meant to be on cows milk at 1 and i was excited coz he hates formula :( xxx
@emilyjayne27 well i gave him it day before yesterday and he had 1 runny poo so i left it a day then did it again today and it happend again... but like hours n hours after. Xxx
@emilyjayne27 yeah hopefully.. it's just the runny poo I've noticed. Xxx
They told me lactose intolerance would be a rash, runny poo/constipation, being sick. It could just be that you've introduced something new xx
Abit tmi! Don't want to know about your diharrea
