Someone please help me!!! I've tried EVERYTHING and my supply will NOT increase. My daughter turned 12 weeks yesterday and I've been trying to EBF since the beginning. I've had issues and had to FF since she had a bad latch and her tongue tie was too much. I dealt with hyperlactation and breast engorgement since my milk came in. Then after she turned a month, my supply dropped so much that I almost dried up. I've tried tea, taking supplements, pumping after nursing, power pumping, expressing whenever she had one breast but wouldn't take the other, expressing after pumping, I drink water, I even take Reglan(which has worked but not as much as I expected it to or wanted it to). I supplement as little as possible. She pees and poops everyday but not as much as she does formula. After a couple of hours after bottle feeding with formula, she will have the wettest diaper. She sleeps through nights so in the morning I expect her to have a heavy, wet diaper from breastfeeding and falling asleep on the breast. I have diapers with wetness indicators. After sleeping that full night, it'll only be half blue and very light. She seems to get what she needs/wants every other feeding. This one will be fine, the next won't be close to enough but the one after that will be. If not, then the one after that. I'm trying to EBF but no matter what I do, my supply will NOT increase. I do not want to formula feed. There's nothing wrong with it, I know, but I just don't want to. At all. I'm getting so depressed, if anyone else has any other options for me, please comment your opinions. But I've tried pretty much everything. I've seen a LC and she said the reason why little to nothing comes out when I pump is because my flow is influenced by her saliva, which I've heard of plenty of times before, but it makes things SO difficult. I pumoed for SO long after recently getting prescribed Reglan and for the first time since her first month, I was able to get some out. But it was barely up to 3 oz.

Literally no reason to pump then so I'd just quit altogether. I'd also suggest quitting the reglan. Keep nursing but meanwhile:

Make sure you're getting enough calories a day, at least 2000

Staying hydrated

Start moringa supplement

Nettle supplement

Goats rue

Brewers yeast

Baobab powder

Sunflower lecithin

Shatavari

Fish oil

Multivitamin or prenatal

You can try motherlove "special blend" but that's the only supplement I'd recommend.

If you're interested in these things I can give more info, dosing and recipe info.

Unfortunately you'd have to stop supplementing completely to see If your milk comes back well. If she isn't making enough diapers without supplement though you should continue.

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

so, I think if my milk comes in prior to the baby, I'm going to pump as much as possible and freeze it. I'll feed whatever I pumped to the baby, then after that I'll switch to formula.
