Hi ladies , I'm 12 weeks and 1 day pregnant I was just wondering when everyone started buying things for the baby ?
Really want to buy something but think it may be to early 🤔 xx
@leighjamie99 that would be my advice chick. Keep getting little necessities with each pay, eventually you'll have most of what you need. The earlier you start will help later down the line with putting money towards more expensive stuff. Xx
@clarelushx That's Why I Wanted To Start A Bit Early I Had My 3 Month Scan Today Everything's Healthy , I'm a single mom so only I will be paying for baby stuff I work and get paid every 2 weeks but don't get loads and loads so could do with start buying stuff every time I get paid so I can get everything xx
I didn't start buying things until 19 weeks but I kind of wish I'd have started earlier. I could have bought things like bottles, sterilisers, breast pumps ect before finding out the sex. Now I still have to buy all that on top of cot/pram/furniture ect with only 4-5 lots of monthly pay xx
Thankyou all ladies very helpful I'm going to just wait till my 16 weeks as I'm having early gender scan but if I do see something I like I will get it just small things but won't go out just to buy stuff xx
I brought a couple of little things like maybe clothes, some nappy’s, that sort of thing but nothing big till after my 20 wk scan. I found it really hard not to buy anything at all xx
I didn’t buy until 20 weeks and I’m the same this time only a little earlier because we are having an early gender scan xx
I waited until after the 20 week scan☺️ I knew someone who'd had bad news at the 20week scan and ended up losing their baby so I wanted to wait until I knew she was ok xx
i got all the littel bits frist hunni like dummies and stuff like that i got them wen i was 8 weeks gone xxx
I brought after announcing was pregnant but only neatural stuff. Then had to stop myself before so i could see if i was having a girl or boy sl i could then by for gender xx
About a week after finding out i went and got my pushchair and then got everything else at 16 weeks when I knew what i was having. Your 12 weeks now so your classed as out of the 'danger ' zone. I would just buy whatever you want I don't think your to early x
@leighjamie99 even if you start buying nappies and wipes, it's good to get stocked up on them, that's what I have done xx
@marie_mx I haven't actually brought anything yet I talk my self out of it I think I'm just going to buy a few bits when next shopping xx
I'm the same, I can't stop buying haha. I started buying around 12/13 weeks. I had a feeling I was having a boy so I was drawn more towards boys clothes. I wouldn't let it stop you buying though xx
@marie_mx
I just wanted to get a few things then buy more once I know what I'm having but everyone says it's bad luck to buy things to early but can't help my self when shopping xx
I bought a couple of unisex outfits before my gender scan but once I found out I was having a boy I bought more boy outfits xx
