It depends on which you get. I had mirena and it went through my uterus into my pelvis. I had to have it surgically removed. Now I have the paragard and haven’t had any problems

@mswedes I have the skyla one but my eyes have been sensitive to light

@anthonysmommy92, skyla is like mirena. It’s the hormone one.
