Exactly! That’s your choice as a parent. I’m still not sure how I feel about vaccines lol my son had had all of his shots so far but I’m stuck on how I feel about them. I take what the doctors say as advice but decide wether or not I want to follow it, they definitely try to scare you into basically spending a bunch of money it seems like. We live in a world centered around money and they can be greedy unfortunately so I always make sure what they’re suggesting is REALLY right and so far it hasn’t been too often 😅

@avahcruz I believe that completely I don't give baby cereal because of arsenic or jar foods, and sorry but don't give vaccines either . I don't believe shit docs say lol they know nothing. So I'm with u on that

Many baby foods say 4 months + or contain arsenic or other harmful chemicals, just look into that stuff and know what’s good and what’s not. Just because it’s marketed, advertised or even recommended by a doctor doesn’t mean that’s what you’re supposed to do.

Mine has only had a bottle twice. If your baby can burp on his own then let him, modify it to where you take the bottle away at every .5-1 oz to give him a break and let him burp on his own if he needs to. The flow should be slow flow until they transition to a cup.

Oh are you eating enough too? When I barely eat, I barely get anything. I also found oatmeal keep me produce regularly but I got tired of it so I stopped, im going to try earth mama baby angel milkmaid tea now though

You need to pacefeed, it doesn’t withhold them it keeps them from stretching out their stomach, 2 oz in one minute is too much, and 6 oz in one sitting is too much too. He should drink 1-1.5 oz per hour (for example) if he eats every 3 hours he should eat 3-4.5 oz.

The only ways to increase supply is by more frequent feeding or pumping. Move milk to make milk.

The biting gets better if you would consider latching again, but it’s totally your choice, it is more efficient than pumping.

It takes a lot longer for a baby to realize they’re full than it does for us which is why we pace feed.

Overall supplementing is not the end of the world, you have gone this long breastfeeding and that’s great!

If you can meet with a lactation consultant I would also recommend that.

@avahcruz no I don't wanna with hold from him. He will drink 2 oz in a minute lol. And if he had a 4oz bottle once it's gone he crys still so then I make a small formula bottle yo see if he's still hungry and he downs it . He's a big boy now. And I never wanted to supplement I know it's not the end of the world but I wanted to go 1 yr exclusively bf

@avahcruz because my son wants at least 5-6oz at a time and I pump 2-4 oz combined! Latching is not a option . I know baby can get milk out better , iv pumped since birth because he never latched well. I tried about s month ago but he bit my nipple and grew blood with those bottom teeth.
