Kids will give them up when ready. My nine month old hasn't really used one in about a month by her choice. She'll just chew on it when her teeth bug her. They say using a binky can reduce the chance of sids as well by the way.
@miriah97, oh yeah! She has all of her teeth and have had them all for over a year. Her dentist has said she’s fine, so, I’m kind of just waiting until (a) she’s cool with giving it up. (b) her dentist says she needs to give it up.
@mommytotheo, I agree - I think Kids only really end up with teeth problems because their parents don’t switch out the paci’s for the appropriate size for the current age.
Oh yes they are lol. NVM but my sister in law tells me my son shouldn't have one he's only 7m and I think it's a hell of a lot better than giving meds for their teething pain
I say whenever baby is ready to give it up. I had mine till I was 5 then gave it up on my own. I'm planning to do that with Theo let him make the choice. I don't have any speech problems or teeth problems. People say having a paci that long can cause that but I don't believe it
R her top teeth in ?? I wanna stop when my son's top teeth come in but pacis r a life saver lol
I’m letting my girl let it go on her own. She’s 2&half.
Everyone gives me sooo much crap about it but I just ignore them. Her dentist said as long as she gets rid of before her other teeth come in, everything will be fine.
