Went today to put my daughter into daycare. Being that she’s the only child I want her to be around other kids. Well daycare asked me if I’m potty training and we’re surprised when I said NO I’ve tried. But she’s not catching on yet. What age did your little one starting potty training ? They made me feel like I should have been trying harder now 😞

Girl, my son didn't really start to catch on until about three months before his 4th birthday 😂 Its so much easier to just let them tell you when they're ready. Your baby is still so young. I wouldn't worry, she has lots of time :)

My niece was trained by 18 months, but my friends daughter wasn't fully trained until almost 4. Every kid is different, they're ready when they're ready.

Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. How can I fully potty train my 1 yr old if pull-ups n undies start at a 2t and she’s only a 3 In diapers n still have plenty room in those a 2t anything is way to big . She uses the potty whenever I sit her down n tells me she poops herself and wants a change when her diaper is messed up or a tad full . She likes using the potty so I really feel she’s ready to be trained fully but she’s stuck with diapers or walk around all day with nothing on ??
