So a neighbor dog has gotten into our yard at least 3 times and my dog finally bit it. Now they're talking us to court for a dangerous animal. Do they have any standing? Mind you our yards DO NOT directly touch (their dog had to cross another yard to get your ours)
Then legally yeah they could get you.
It's like the guy who broke in someone's house and broke a leg sued the owners because he broke his leg while breaking in 🤦
The signs protect you legally.

I would say no but knowing some people they’d try to find a loop hole. But no. That’s on them for not keeping an eye on their dog or at least having it chained up. Ugh. I can’t stand pet owners like that.
What would you do? My 2 German shepherds jumped the fence today into our neighbors yard.

How do you Discipline your dogs?
Not mom related but I'm posting anyways! We moved into a new neighbourhood 6 months ago. Due to dog allergies with my husband and daughter we rehomed our dog to a friend. So a lady 2 door down had man friends who are over daily with his 2 huge dogs. The dogs come over to my yard and poop. Today there is 5 damn huge piles and my 1 year old plays on the yard. The lady is a fiery lady who's drinks and drinks and is loud and rowdy. The sight of poop makes me gag and throw up. Let alone the fact that my daughter plays in the grass. Now what the heck do I do about this because I dont need the stress or confrontation with someone in the neighbourhood who I dont know or havent even said hi to.
