I’ve been having contractions on and off since around 3pm. My back if KILLING me. I called my Midwife and she said to call back in an hour if they were still consistent. By the time I called back the office was closed. I’m in so much pain I’m shaking (because I’m tired). I’m pretty positive these are BH but I’m wondering if I should go get checked out... at least so they can give me something for the pain. I took some Tylenol about an hour ago and no relief. What would you do??
@mrs.a, was he born early or did you get seen in time?
@telliey, I agree with all the girls above, please go get checked don’t ever wait! I waited over night thinking I was having Braxton Hicks a year and a half ago with my son at 28 weeks and I was in preterm labor. So, please don’t wait. Braxton Hicks should NOT be painful!
Call the labor & delivery at your hospital if your doctor doesn't have after hour phone calls they will be able to tell you whether you should come in to be checked or not or if the pain gets to be too much I would just go in to be safe & sure nothing is going on you never know
@raquely, I’m gunna shower n try a warm compress. If I’m still in pain in an hour ima go
@sjo1, @tejuh2m225, @raquely, I want to go but I don’t wanna go just to be there for hours and the send me home. My daughter has school in the morning and we have no one to watch our 18 month old. Whole family gunna be in the room and my youngest is most likely gunna cut up *sigh* and I’m only 29 weeks. It’s too early!!
if you're in that much pain girl then yes go!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@telliey, he was born 2 days later and only lived for a couple hours.
