Anyone else have a choroid plexus cyst found on baby's brain during ultrasound? We learned that our baby has one yesterday. It could possibly be a marker for trisomy 18 but baby didn't show any other markers. From reading up on it a lot of people say the cyst went away by the next ultrasound and everything was alright in the end. Trying to stay positive until our next scan April 18th. Please send extra prayers our way.

My daughter didn’t have that but she had a bright spot on her heart which is also a marker but didn’t have DS when born try not to worry typically they will see more than one marker of the baby has it

Until we find out what iron baby is. Decided to do an early scan since my husband won't be at the next ultrasound, and my son won't be at our level 2 scan...I wanted us all together.
My first ultrasound of our faternal twins can't wait to get my next one hopefully I can get appointment next wk
So I have done a lot of research on Trisomy 18 since my baby has a 1 in 41 chance of having it and it seems some obvious markers are clenched fists and strawberry shaped head, I dont think our baby has those markers, he/she looks perfect to me! any thoughts?

Okay so the ultrasound tech told us he wasn't sure what the gender of our baby is.. At first he said girl then he said boy then he said to keep both names handy...does anyone have ultrasound pics where they were told one gender and the baby was born with the other gender???
