So my son has been getting really bad rashes between his butt to the point to where it's super red, today he had a appointment to get it checked out and his doctor told me to stop using baby wipes that they have chemicals in them and since the urine and poop are already strong that when we use the wipes its pretty much burning their skin and even after we are done changing them that the wetness stays on them and all those strong chemicals are just burning them. I had no idea either 😢 so from now on I'm only using water to wipe his booty... hopefully those rashes stop.

Yes , soap and water for a poopy butt ! My son constantly gets that and we have to be very on top of soap and water butt rinses , desitin, and maizena (cornstarch ) on his bum. That stuff clears it up with in one to two diaper changes!

When our son/daugther pee we just use water (not after every pee of course). For a poop baby soap and water. Wipes make the skin red and irritated. If this happens I apply aveeno lotion
