What was your first baby's weight? Did anyone have a big baby?
My 1st was 5lbs and 15oz. And I'm currently baking my 2nd but Dr said that this baby is measuring bigger.
Aw. My 2 year old is 30 pounds and is skinny as heck, so I can only imagine a 26 pound 3 year old. Super petite lol. Glad she's doing well though. @_sheriee
@crazysmc25, wow! Looks like you’re probably going to have a big babe too! Don’t worry about anything girl, at least your doctors are aware of her weight and are keeping track of it, and even if they weren’t, your body knows exactly what to do ❤️ I’ll be praying for you for an easy labor and delivery and healthy mama and baby 😘
I’m 29 weeks too!
@crazysmc25, only that he got stuck and I had to have a c-section. They didn't know he was so big, told me he'd be about 7/8lbs. I could've birthed him naturally if I had kept pushing for a few more hours, but after almost 4 hours already I had nothing left.
I didn't have GD, but I figured he'd be bigger. My family just makes big babies. My sister is diabetic and had an almost 10lb baby, but he was born via c-section because he was in distress.
@breloya , nope. She was on oxygen for almost a year of her life but now you'd never be able to tell besides her still being petite. She's three and 26 lbs. Lol
@stephaniemora17 that is awesome!! I am 29 weeks and my baby girl is measuring and weighing 2 weeks ahead! She is already 3 lbs and 2 ozs!!
@crazysmc25, no praise GOD no complications- just SO painful, and I think it was probably so painful because of how big she was. I’m not a big person by any means, I’m 5’1 (on a good day) and my normal weight is 135lbs. I also didn’t have gestational diabetes so I’m not sure why she was so big! I think I just grow them that way 🤷🏽♀️but anyway, she was delivered vaginally and was born perfectly healthy which I am so grateful for.
@stephaniemora17 Oh wow!! Did you have any complications due to her being a big baby?
@_sheriee omg. So tiny! If you don't mind me asking, did she have any lasting effects from being born so early?
My first was 9lbs 4 oz —- she was huge 😅
I’m hoping my second isn’t as big, because of my history with such a big baby the first time around they told me they would induce me around week 36 if the baby was looking like another 9-10 pounder
@crazysmc25 thank you ❤
