Sorry if this post seems rude or anything but it's too the point that I don't care. So the other day I got attacked by one of those Anti-Vax people(Sorry don't like them, never will) because I said that I would be giving my child all the proper vaccinations. I don't see any issue with giving my child vaccinations that could help protect them from diseases that could kill them. When I was younger I got something called Scarlet fever after playing at a girls house and she wasn't vaccinated. Ever since then I always got my shots and tried to keep my distance from those who don't.

Don’t listen to those people! I think people who don’t vaccinate their kids are crazy. I understand why some of them feel the way they feel but at the end of the day if their child gets measles or mumps or something else that’s life threatening they are going to wish they vaccinated their children. You do what you feel is right for your child!

I vax my kids but also now that im doing more research i will delay the ones that are not needed. I wouldnt push my views on others. We often think things are weird or crazy that we dont understand. They should not of attacked you at all!!!

I usually don't care what you do or how you parent your kids as long as you aren't harming them. And to me Not vaccinating them is harming them. I only had the flu one time and it was the year that I didn't get my flu shot in time. I had gotten the shot but the flu virus was already in my system by that time.

@lareina_kk, I agree ☝️. I would never push my views on other’s or talk down on people who don’t vaccinate. Everyone has their own reasoning. And way of things

I vaccinate my children. I wasn't vaccinated bc of my biological mom and got chicken pox really bad. So for me id rather know they're safe then be sorry. I do have a friend who hasn't vaccinated her son so sad to say we kind of avoid them.

@almost-mrs.jones everyone's body reacts differently to different things. Ive only received the flu shot maybe 3 times my entire life and never had the flu. Never gave my kids the shot either yet only because they can only estimate the strand. I know people who have gotten the shot and the flu. So I think it all depends. There is so much the cdc and government doesn't tell us😐 but again they should NOT of attacked you!

@charmed040309 i will vax for contagious things like that. I had the chicken pox and still have scars on my skin from it😢

I do research vaccines. and I will be having my son vaccinated with everything I was. Want to know why? Because the only time I was sick was when I didn't have the shots. I would never play the risk game with my children just because some people say that vaccines are bad. Show me multiple, proper, TRUE scientific study that says vaccines are bad or are useless and I might consider reading it. My child's safety is more important then making everybody happy.If I'm physically attacked because of that then that's your issue. I was just stating my thoughts and I will not allow anyone to make snide comments because I did that. Also I refuse to raise a pansy.

@lareina_kk I understand everybody reacts differently but why should I play around with that by not vaccina ting my kids?

@almost-mrs.jones you shouldnt

@lareina_kk Exactly. That's all I try to tell people but I still get attacked

For any anti vaxxer who attacks me and uses the reason of the shots hurting their kids. This is what I say, “Well would you rather see your child fighting for their life hooked up to machines and even more needles being put in them. Or just step out of the room let your baby cry for a few seconds and then be cuddled and be saved from diseases that could kill your kid that could be prevented?” For people who say it causes autism I say “well what’s wrong with an autistic kid huh? You’d rather your child be dead then have autism. Wow some person you are.”

The autism one really makes people shut up because it make them realize how horrible they are as a human being.

@icomplainalot I totally agree and maybe they should google that information bc that was debunked. My son's autistic and he's the sweetest kid.

I get that everybody has their own ways to be a parent, but the one thing that shouldn't even be a choice is whether or not you vaccinate your child. Sure, vaccinations tend to have more than what you really need in them and it's a science that's still being perfected even today, but it's better than letting your kid die from some avoidable illness. 🤷🏼 ♀ sorry, but I don't need my kid who is too young to have all his vaccinations around your kid who could give him said illnesses he doesn't have vaccinations for and kill MY kid as a result of YOUR ignorance.

I'm doing my research on vaccines lately and what I don't understand is that people who decide to get their children vaccines dont want their child around someone's child who doesn't have them... I guess my question is why? isn't the whole point of you getting the vaccine to prevent your child from getting it? so why are you scared to have your child around someone who doesn't have them? let me hear time ladies. I personally am deciding not to get my son any vaccines.

Tell me if I'm wrong here.

Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.
