That's how my fiance is...he will literally play his game all day and I'm like u do have kids and an ole lady that needs some of your time..and then it's other times when I want to be intimate with him...he gets off but not always when I want him 2

@daniellejan i get that I do that's why I've delt with this for 4 years but I'm starting to done with it. I want a career and be a better person and I can't do that knowing that my kids sit at home all day running around unattended. And if my husband is that stressed then go to the gym or go hang with his friends. Not face deep into a screen. To me its stupid.

My husband loves his video games. He is always allowed to play his video games anytime he chooses. He is the only one that provides for our family as I am a stay at home mom. He works from 12-14 hours shifts if that. His time when playing is his own down time. For him to relax and something that helps with stress ( as silly as that sounds but true) but in no ways does he not help with our son. He is always there when I need him to do anything.

@nerdymommyplus2 he has no self control though. And he does ignore us for it. there are days he will try and play like 9 hours straight. And its like uh what about us? I think he wants to be like those guys trying to make money and play. No amount of money is worth it to me. I need him.

He's no allowed to ignore his children when they want his attention (he never does anyways)

If he starts cussing I make him turn it off

If we need some "us" time I also make him turn it off.

That's how I feel. And I told him I want us to be better people and actually do things with our lives and he's says I want to control him.

I dumped my ex because of that. So no. I swore no more men who played games and the person I married dislikes video games. I hated that my ex let it rule his life that he didn't do NOTHING.
