So I'm gonna be a ftm, my child is currently showing as breech and my doc said if she hasn't turned closer to due date then I might have to have a scheduled c section which I don't wanna do but just in case I rather be prepared and get some reassurance and my questions awnsered.
1. Has anyone has a c section while being animic ?
2. How's recovery?
3. Do they keep extra blood on hand and give you medication?
4.Can they put you completely to sleep or do you have to be awake?
Otherwise I'm currently 32 wks so will my baby turn and not be butt first like she currently is , this is twice she's been this way. I doooooont wanna c section so any advice or tips would help, and I don't want doctor to turn her either.

This position 2-3 times a day will help prompt the baby to turn. Rock forward and backward for comfort.
Yes, they should have blood on hand. I recently gave birth, I ended up hemorrhaging and needing a D&C and a bakri (spelling) balloon placed. I received 5 units of blood, I'm O-, a rare blood type, so they actually not only took 5 units from the blood bank they had one more on reserve for me bc I'm O-. It was an emergency situation at midnight....
I'm glad I didn't decide to go through with having my son at home, things could have gone very bad very fast.
I don't want to scare you but you need to know what could happen with anemia bc I'm not anemic, and had these complications. So definitely talk to your doctor about your fears and what you can do before hand to help.
