Do breastfeeding Mommys still try to burp their little one after they fall asleep while nursing?
*i always do but he never burps. If you guys do, do you wake them back up until they burp? Or just let them sleep?
@mommyofljc17, well since I started exclusively breastfeeding he’s been super gassy per say. But just a month ago I’ve notice that he’s been throwing up a lot after feedings while trying to burp and very gaggy. Like we tried giving him gripe water and he would gag and throw up. Hurts me as a month knowing I’m not able to stop that pain. I’ve talked to his pediatrician about the spitting up/throwing up and if it doesn’t affect his weight to them it’s not concerning. But I honestly think he has sever acid reflex.
@daniellejan, have you talk to his pediatrician about the acid reflux. Liam started to get some reflux at 5 months that at night he would spit up a little in his mouth but he had the tendency to swallow it so his pediatrician wasn’t concerned enough to give him medicine for it. But if your son is vomiting he may need more than just burping him to help with the acid reflux.
@mommyofljc17, my son has really bad acid reflex and it’s scares me because when he does burp it’s lots of throw up and gagging ☹️ i always try to burp him on the dream feeds but he’s always just knocked out!
My son is almost 9 months and I would never burp him at night on the dream feeds. It would never bother him and still doesn’t. Unless your baby is already colicky try it out without the burping see how it goes.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@daniellejan, that is crazy that they are not concerned about his throwing up. I would push the doctor because when they are colicky it’s horrible for them. Your baby shouldn’t go through that. Have you tried chamomile tea? I would give that to my son when he would get super colicky and it would help him a lot. But if I were you I would just tell my pediatrician that the baby is constantly crying and throwing up and you don’t think it’s normal. Your baby should be happy not suffering.
