I guess what pisses me off is people (and celebs) and showing their “post baby bods” who don’t look like they have had a kid at all. I know I’m feeling a little salty and I’m trying real hard to embrace the mom bod but like... you gotta be sucking it in. lol.
@babeylarissa, a girl I went to high school with posted a picture a few months post baby. That’s kind of what got me thinking. Plus Kylie Jenner but still. She doesn’t bug me as much. Lol. I’m all for people showing of their post baby bods but no body wants me to put mine out there 🤣
@kristenmarie, luckily my husband is pretty understanding. And he’s got stretch marks himself so he tries to use that to make me feel better about mine. lol.
But you’re right. I try really hard not to compare myself
It just gives everybody these unrealistic standards. Women look at that like “well shit if ____ ____ can look like that a month after having a baby then why don’t I look like that?” And then we feel shitty about ourselves. And then men see that as well and think oh it must be super easy to snap back into pre baby body. Like no. It can easily take up to a year to get anywhere near post baby body for some women
@princessrose You'd be surprised at how photoshopped so many of them are, a few celebs have actually gotten super mad when their photos were photoshopped without their knowledge post baby. One magazine even had the nerve to photoshop the baby! Its crazy.
