@leroydoom, oh naw that’s just crazy. I rather just buy extra formula. I tried baby food with my first daughter too early and she got constipated. So that’s why like you said I wait until they’re 6 months to do all that.

That's why most pedi's will advice bottle first, baby food second during meals time for the first yr

@lizzieandvannahmommy Once mine was old enough for baby food (like 6+) months I'd give him his cereal in the morning and sometimes at night. Not as a supplement but just a change of pace. Breastmilk/Formula really is what they are drawing all their nutrients from.

@leroydoom, thanks love! I’ll admit I’ve tried a pinch of cereal in her formula every now and then like maybe once a week to see how she does because this is the time I started my oldest on cereal but majority of the time I just let her drink her 8 oz and just buy new clothes 😂😂😂

Girl, I knew someone that was supplementing formula with rice cereal because the baby had a "big appetite" Like, let that baby drink his formula! There was nothing wrong with his tummy (some babies have to have rice cereal because of stomach issues) they could afford it, I guess they were too cheap to buy the extra formula smh

@momof5brats, exactly. I tried giving her just 6 oz but she gets fussy and then I give her 2 more oz and she’s fine. The doctor said as long as she’s not spitting it up or anything she’s fine.

Girl don't listen to anyone. My girls were eating at least 3-5oz when they were babies. And they are perfectly fine.

My baby is the same way. People kept telling me I am over feeding her but the doctor said she is fine
