Giiiiirl um a little beside myself right nah. My husbands aunts are sooo overbearing! I cannot stand it. We went car shopping today so my father in law kept the baby while we were out. Two of his sisters came by and without communicating with us, gave the baby peanut butter. Thank God he is not allergic cuz we hadnt even given it to him OURSELVES. I just dont get it. If anything would’ve happened omg!!! The audacity.
@n_favors, not anymore. They say to introduce it all at 6 months and it actually helps prevent allergic reactions. My son had peanut butter, eggs, strawberries, etc all at 6 months because of the new recommendations.
You're suppose to wait til they R at least 1. Giving it to them too early can cause them to b allergic to it.
@karimarie I swear that stuff changes all the time. With my last one it was 2yrs old, but with my first one it was 1yr old.
@karimarie, Thats a new one for me. I havent heard that. They are always changing something.
@tiredmom, you’re actually supposed to introduce it at 6 months old now. They want all allergens introduced right away. But definitely not right of someone else to do it without parental consent or supervision
@tiredmom, right! The nxt time i see them lol they not gonna like me no mo. I promise!
@tiredmom, it is messed up! He said he had to curse them out. And then kicked them out cuz after he told them no they still tried to take him. He kicked they asses out.
@madukes wow. That's so fucked up. He didn't let them take him did he???
@tiredmom, I knoooooooo see i thought it was 1 that you could give it to them. I am so tired of them. My father in law said they came over and tried to take the baby for a walk but has never come to our house to see him.
@boymamachronicles, I told my husband if something would’ve happened I would’ve slapped his aunt.
That's so not ok!!! He should be 2 before he has it and lots of supervision to make sure there's no reaction!!!
@karimarie this is what our pedetrician just said. My son has had those things to but not b4 he turned one. Some of it he hadn't been long had. Luckily no problems yet.
