I'm beyond hurt. Ever since I found out I was pregnant his family has always greeted me as the mother to their first grandbaby. When I gave birth they visited the hospital for and hour and complained that that wasn't enough time. A couple days later I was in the ER due to compilations with the pregnancy. Never once did they ask if I was okay..they just hounded us to see the baby. Now we are going over there tonight because they want to see her. I've never felt like I was an actual person to them..and I'm expected to keep a smile on my face. I get that it's their first grandchild...but what am I? All of this really hasn't helped with PPD.

Have you asked him to step in and talk to them about the way they are acting? They can't treat you like all your there for is pushing out a kid for them. Sometimes people don't realize they are being hurtful.
@mollyfulton1996 yikes. I mean idk how to handle a situation like that without forcing them to understand unless they stop treating you like all you were good for was being a baby making factory they can't see your child. But, he'd have to have your back on that 1000% and make sure they knew he's just as upset as you are. They should feel ashamed they didn't even ask if you were okay.
