Would you ladies buy maternity briefs or just get some normal ones from a clothes shop?

@misstori1992, I wore boxers last time they were uncomfortable

I wore boxers and a big pad, Izzy like to rest on my bladder and it feels like I could pee walking hahaaa

@gabilicious, i saw her when she came out but wasn’t allowed to hold her because she needed oxygen after the cord being wrapped around her twice then I didn’t see her until 3 hours later when we got took to our room xx

@courtniek98x, bless ya I know what you they whisked Caitlin away straight away and I didn’t see her for about 5 minutes until they got her dressed etc and my husband was the first one to held her, luckily I managed to have skin to skin straight away with Oliver and the daddy had a cuddle, but both times midwives made sure baby’s cot was right next to my bed so i was able to get them myself xx

@gabilicious, I hated not being able to get up and give harper a cuddle ect my partner had to give her to me I didn’t even get to hold her first 😔xxx

@courtniek98x, the first time they kept me from Friday till Monday but I was still in so much pain from the scar rapturing, second time I was allowed to go home after 24 hours, all I can say is thank god for the seat in them showers xxx

@gabilicious, hahaha I was kept in for 3 days after having harper so was able to get a bath and get dressed ect xxx

@courtniek98x, I did t even wear bottoms leaving the hospital both times just ended walking out with a nightie 🤦‍♀️ at the time I couldn’t care less but when I think back people must of thought I was a right weirdo xx

Definitely you want something loose so the area is able to breathe as well xx

@gabilicious, I had forceps hun ended up with 7 stitches down there and I had to have a catheter for 12+ hours cos I couldn’t feel anything from the waist down but once I was allowed home I was wearing boxers and they felt so tight on the top of my legs xx

@courtniek98x, I don’t know with natural birth but after my section both times I was only allowed to wear hospital gown for about 12 hours after until I was allowed in the shower and then put my own clothes after xx

@gabilicious, yeah, I wore women’s boxers after having harper they weren’t really comfy around the top of my legs and stuff so gonna go for briefs this time xx

@courtniek98x, in my eyes the bigger the better so it gives you space and doesn’t squeeze anything too much, especially in case you have to have a section or anything xx

@gabilicious, well I was looking at the briefs in there and they’re cheap just wondered if they’re comfortable for after birth xx

I just bought huge granny knickers, and they were perfect! Comfortable and cheap! Xx

I just bought giant as my husband calls it granny underwear I think it was like £2.50 for 5 pairs in primark xx
