When I was 36 weeks I almost changed my daughters name from Macie Laine to Sadie Mae. I thought about it for about a week and decided against it. I’ve heard of a lot of moms thinking about changing the name in late pregnancy. I think its like the cold feet to motherhood. What name do you have picked out now?

@hermama, I’m so sorry to hear that! My mom is in liver failure and I was in kidney failure so I understand how difficult and scary this can be. I love Penelope! I was one of our top 3 names when I was pregnant with Macie. What is his middle name? Does he have a favorite item or personality trait that really makes him who he is?
@hermama, the name Wayoni (way-on-e) (Or other spelling) is a female variation of Wayne. I knew a girl in school with that name and she said it meant beautiful spirit and beautiful water in another language (don’t remember which one) but honestly saying Penelope Wayoni to myself I really kinda like it.
