My daughter is about a month and a half and the most i get off her is 3oz. Sometimes she will only eat 2oz.

That's pretty normal. My second was taking four ounces at 4/5 months old

My son is two months and he eats typically between 2-3 oz and occasionally, mostly during a growth spurt, he'll take 4.

Your baby should only be drinking 1-2oz every hour or so. If she’s drinking 2.5 she’s content. Don’t make the mistake of over feeding, she’s fine. What makes you think she needs more? Is she fussy after feeding?

@mommabear1014, that does help! thanks. if you don’t mind me asking, why is she still on the 22 cal? Do you know when she can get off of it?

@mommabear1014, oh ok! and nooo not at all. not that I know of at least. I don’t know much about it but it does make Madi constipated cuz it has iron in it so sometimes she gets fussy. but also it’s just very expensive that’s the only downside to it in my opinion. My boyfriend accidentally gave her the regular similac formula the other day and she seemed to like it more 😑

@mommabear1014, yeah she gets a vitamin too with iron but honestly the past 3 days I haven’t given it to her because she didn’t poop for days. she has her 2 month check up next week so if she gained a good amount of weight i’m gonna ask if we can switch her formula

@mommabear1014, when she was in the nicu she was getting mostly breast milk and occasionally formula then she got half and half and when she came home just formula and she was never constipated in the nicu so i’m totally blaming it on the formula

@mommabear1014, that’s the same vitamin she’s on too! they said her hemoglobin levels were low and that’s why she needed it
