I googled & it said you can’t drink while breastfeeding, I’m not meaning Hard liquor. I was saying maybe a little margarita or a glass of wine ..? You can’t drink Nothing Period ??
You can pump and dump but trust me yull be too paranoid that you haven’t pumped it all out it’s not worth it lol this is you commitment and it’s a great choice for your babeh!☺️

Pump the milk out and dump it while you're drinking.
But pump and dump doesn't make the alcohol come out of your breastmilk any faster and is wasteful 🤷
But if you don’t pump, you can mess up your production and be at a higher risk for the infection mastitis.
Omg do not pump and dump there is no such thing as the liquor being removed from just one pump , by the test strips which test ur milk .. just squeeze some milk on it and it tells u if ur ok to breastfeed, or better yet don’t drink and you don’t have to worry, I drank wine occasionally and breastfeed or if u feel ur going to get wasted pump bottles before and feed baby that, until the liquor is completely gone.. I always told myself if I worry to much about it then I shouldn’t be drinking ...
In some parts of Asia and in Paris they drink wine while pregnant. Their kids are smart and have low percentage of autism etc. I’m too much of a pissy to have more than a half of a glass if I do drink 🍷
Lactation told me if your drunk your milk is drunk. If your not tipsy then your good

@jellybeans_mumm, My mom is the only one who agrees with me drinking, she drunk with my little brother at the end of her pregnancy. It helps with your labor too. It’s relaxing tho, less than a half of glass doesn’t do shit.
@keilaa, it’s the best ! Don’t get me wrong though it’s hard and you will have your days thing is to remain focus , if I was super worried I just didn’t drink ... breastfeeding is so rewarding and the bond you will build with ur baby is remarkable ...

You do not have to pump and dump but if you are scared you can pump and use the milk in a milk bath. Its good for their skin.
Your boobs do not function as livers. Toxins aren’t filtered through it. If you are drunk you may pass the alcohol to baby but if you are sober it’s very unlikely that you will. But to ease your mind yes just use the test strips no reason in throwing out good milk due to paranoia and like you said it’s wine here and there you aren’t wasted everyday or slamming shots. And every one is different

@keilaa, I was told to pump at least two small bottles bump it. The 3rd bottle should be ok for your child to drink
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
