I honestly don't understand the thing behind pineapple putting you in labor. I craved it my entire pregnancy and I hate pineapple 🤦🤦
@walkers-mom, Athena was scheduled for the 27th of june and came two days early. The night before I was sitting on the floor helping my husband paint the trim in his office and the next morning I was spotting. 12 hours later I had Athena. lol she came when she was ready and nobody could stop her. So just keep on relaxing and indulging and hopefully he makes an appearance soon 🤞🏻💕

Girl, i did nothing and my kid still came at 36 weeks in 4 hours. Bounce on that ball 🤷🏼♀️

@vvrobinson, lol on the internet it says it can help thin your cervix but it’s not proven 😂 i ate it everyday last week & just got more. I’m currently 50% effaced 🤷🏼♀️ lol i ate some 3 days before i had my first son but don’t know if it was just a coincidence or not

Well both mine were technically "helped labor" but I didn't end up with c section either time but it came close with my second due to high cervix

I hope my next baby I won't need to be but honestly I've heard those with high cervixes end up with c section. I'm not pregnant or trying yet but I told my husband if that's the case I'm tyeing my tubes
@nerdymommyplus2, yeah some people’s body’s just don’t do it on its own. My step mom had to be induced with both my sisters cause her body didn’t dilate on its own

I really think my body doesn't know how to go into labor right. My contractions always got strong enough but not close enough which is why I had to have it both times 🤦. It makes me shake that's why I hate it
@nerdymommyplus2, yeah they didn’t keep me because i didn’t progress to a 5🙄 but i really don’t want pitocin lol so I’m hoping he’ll get the process going on his own soon

My body did that the second time. Like I was having contractions but then stopped after I was at the hospital but I dilated from a 3-5 in 2 hours so they kept me.
Apparently my cervix was too high so my body was like nope 😂🤦...
I had to sit in this weird position and still get pintocin nd I hate pintocin (however you spell it)
@nerdymommyplus2, i was having contractions on the monitor like crazy last night & couldn’t feel them so i could be even further now & I’d rather have a smooth labor like i did with my first & I’m sure it went so fast & easy because i walked so much but it’s currently the middle of winter 😐

March of dimes goes by what American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) say so it's not "just the internet"
If you're already 3 CM then your body is ready or close to it, I would listen to my doctor too.

And actually according to March of dimes full term is 39 weeks
37-39 is early term but not pre term. Pre term is before 37 weeks.
I also got an exercise ball just to sit on. It helps so much with the pressure
