Someone told me Braxton hick contractions show up on the monitor .. anyone know if that’s true?

I don’t think they do I just got my last NST test this morning and they didn’t mention anything about my Braxton Hicks contractions and I’ve been having a lot but maybe they do I’m not totally sure

@countrymama121, well cause i was having contractions last night but didn’t feel them & im hoping that they were actual contractions lol

@walkers-mom, it’s possible to have actual contractions and not feel them my friend went into labor and was having contractions and couldn’t even really feel them and the hospital was like your in labor 😂🤣 I was so jealous she had a 7 hour labor it was so fast and the first few hours she had no idea

No Braxton hicks don't. And yeah u can be having contractions and not feel them at all. I didn't feel any last pregnancy and this one when I was in the hospital hooked up I only felt a few but the machine picked up a lot more.

@cr131418, ok thanks! And yeah i felt nothing except my lower back hurt a little but nothing too extreme

@walkers-mom that could have been the contraction, I felt that and didn't know and the nurse told me it could of been that. But yeah I didn't feel any. She was asking me and so was my man bc they were watching the machine. Thats one reason whg im getting nervous, afraid to go into labor and not even know it. Lol You're welcome:) hopefully he comes soon.

@walkers-mom oh wow, are you still in hospital or send u hone bc you're not at 4cm? Hopefully he makes up his mind if he wants to arrive or not lol

@cr131418, no girl I’m home 😐 they sent me home at 12:30 this morning cause i didn’t progress within 3 hours but was still having contractions .

@walkers-mom wow really? That's crazy that they gave u a time frame to progress. When I went in they kept me for almost 12 hours. Went from 1cm to 2cm 50% effaced. They only sent me home because I stopped contracting and told me if I begin again call n head in.

@cr131418, yeah there stupid. They won’t keep you unless your 5 cm 🙄 I’m not going in again till I’m actually having full blown contractions like i did with my first

@walkers-mom oh wow, where I go told me 4cm bc that's when they consider active labor. And that's like me, I was having some yesterday n day before and my man wanted us to go in but I'm not going in if there not that close together to just get sent home esp with how snow was coming today.

mine did. I was in the hospital at 30 weeks because I was having way more frequent braxton hicks and they showed on the monitor they were huge mountains
