Has anyone ever dealt with night tremors in your toddler?? My daughter is 19 months and over the last week or so has been waking up around 10pm, screaming crying to the point she vomits. It is almost impossible to calm her down. It breaks my heart. She wants my husband or myself but won’t let us hold her and doesn’t want to be down either, but then thrashes when she is in our arms. Tonight it took over an hour until she willingly let me hold her without crying or trying to get away. She has always been a great sleeper in the past. Not being able to calm my baby girl down is breaking my heart and i feel helpless to her. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Mamas

My son went through a brief stage of night terrors but they went away within a few weeks. I hope your little ones do too.

Yeah sometimes my daughter gets nightmares too. She doesn’t talk much but she tells me she’s scared and wants a hug. 😕 If you believe in a greater being. Try praying with her and for her while she sleeps.

Dd was hysterical when he left

Dd was hysterical when he left And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate seeing her that upset. 5 - 10 min after he left when I was cuddling her and comforting her she finally stopped crying. It was probably 30 - 40 min after he dropped her off that she was finally normal and not clingy.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Has your baby ever woken up crying like screaming crying?? This is the 5th time since she was born that it’s happened. Other times she’s been asleep. Once was she was awake playing on the floor on a play mat. And she just did it just now too while I was holding her and she was sleeping ... what could it be? She calmed down pretty fast after holding her close and rocking her

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
