Do it sooner than later! My son is almost two and I haven’t taken it away yet...but I did take him to the dentist and he does have an over bite because of it...😞 ah ya ya...soon, I keep telling myself!

@mommynmotion he didn't talk much until he was around 3 but he spoke clear to me.

We took my sons away right at a year old. We threw them away. Never had a problem out of him. Cutting them off cold turkey is way easier than weining off. That's my opinion...

@zachattackmomma, Right! He’s three now he’ll be 4 in August he has a one year old brother which he tells “mama said those are for babies your a grown little man now give me that” he looks at him like he’s crazy but it’s worked his brother isn’t on it either

She kept losing it, just stopped buying them. Then explain to her that other babies needed it.

@mommynmotion, if he asked for it I would just say “ that’s only for Nigh Nigh, want to... (insert distraction, like build blocks etc...) “

We cut it to naps and bedtime first. Just don’t give in, that’s the end of it. When you give in, the kid knows he can get what he wants. My son knows when I say something it happens because I never go back on my word. When I say we are done, I never go back on that. That’s my key to working with my son so far

Coraline dropped hers at 6 weeks and replaced it with her thumb 😂😂

I took my sons away when he was 2 he would get up looking for it in the morning and before bed I would tell him those are for babies and he’s a grown little man now😂😂he didn’t cry for it

My son has his 1st cold 1 month ago he didn't want it anymore...he took it from birth only my 3rd son took the pacifier daily

@d0iinjusfiin3, did you notice any changes in his speech or teeth? I’m reading awful article on the use of a pacifier and I’m ready to take it now from my 8 month old!

9 months got tired of him losing them and just refused to buy anymore cause he only like specific ones and he cried for three days and then forgot about it

My oldest was around 2 yrs old 😐 I just took them all away. He cried for like 2 weeks for it but then forgot about it.
