Women who've had their tubes tied. How was it? How many inciosions? Side effects? Was it hard taking care if the kids…

I haven't had this done but my sister did. They just did one tiny incision through her belly button. She was up and about in 4 days.

Mine was all good, but it was done while still opened up from c section

@twinmomma2b your welcome dear. I guess it really all depends on how your doctor will do it but you could always ask how and suggest it that way of he/she doesn't mention it. I also covered for a coworker who took time off to get her tubes tied and she was only gone for 3 days.

@cbrebelkat If I could have just one more baby I'd get my tubes tied that way too!!! My dd was a c-section.

They did one incision in my belly button and one at my navel. I was back to taking care of my daughter 2 hours after the surgery. She was 8 months at the time. The surgery itself only took an hour for me.

I go next week for my 6 week check up and at the appointment scheduling my procedure.. doc is doing it laparoscopy and said 48hrs recovery time. I’m nervous for the procedure.
