I needs some opinions from you guys! The baby’s dad and I were talking last night and he said he’d like the spend the first 24 hours with just me and the baby after she’s born. He wants the three of us to bond without visitors and I love that idea! Have any of you done this or wish even wished you would’ve done this?

It’s like a baby shower thrown after the baby is born. People can stop by check baby out sip on a mimosa, coffee or beverages of your choice.

We did this. With the exception of my MIL staying with my older kids until I was discharged. But she was gone before I got home. We had a “sip and see” after.
If you have everything in order and don’t need help I recommend waiting for guests.

I actually loved the idea when he mentioned it last night too. I could tell it was really important to him. Especially since he wasn’t able to do that sort of thing with his first daughter. It’ll give me time to rest from having her, get to know her without interruptions, not have our family and friends constantly wanting to pass her around the room, and learn to breastfeed without worrying about people coming in and out. ❤️

Yup and I loved it. Not having visitors while you rest up and meet your. Own baby is wonderful

That’s an AMAZING idea. I wish I could have but my sons father (my bf) had to work 4 hours after I gave birth. So I had my sister.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
these women wishing death on babies, is seriously pissing me off!! I had a stillborn at 31 weeks, it's not something you wish on someone, or a baby who hasnt got to experience life! if you wish that I hope you rot in hell!!👌🏻 this is not how someone wants to take their baby home, I had to take my first home in an urn, wishing death on a baby or person period is sick, how would you feel if someone said that to you? you wouldn't like it! and in my opinion if you're gonna wish death you dont deserve a little blessing!
If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!
