I’m probably the least materialistic person I know. Craig’s always pretty useless with gifts and I’m fine with that, I don’t need them. But to not have even made the effort to write my Mother’s Day card is a bit of a low blow surely? 😩 Better yet I had to ask him to buy me a card the other day because my first Mother’s Day he didn’t bother and my mum bought me one from Charlie!!

@bonnieb, Craig’s the same! I don’t like to drag him down but it is stuff like this he’s useless with! Like I just want a 50p card that you’ve taken the effort to write out lol. I just feel like a maid sometimes 🤦♀️ xx

Your right, it's not about the presents etc. But it's about showing appreciation. One day. A card and a lay in or whatever is not expecting much. He should be showing Charlie what the day means. If it were me I'd be doing the same for Father's day. Nothing. Take Charlie out and treat yourselves to something. On Daddies card if possible!

But exactly, that’s my point I don’t care about the gifts, it’s just one day to reassure me that actually I’m not just a scivvy who runs around doing everything for the pair of you. I got promised a lay in, guess who was up at 6:20 with Charlie this morning 🙋 and guess who is STILL in bed at 12:45 🙄
