dead asleep and I hear my son screaming! So I rush into his room and he is screaming in his sleep!! Third time this week! Went to the doctor Friday cuz he had an ear infection and I mentioned it and she told me it’s night terrors :( how does a almost 2 year old gave night terrors? :( worse thing also is you can’t pick them up you have to comfort them where they are sleeping at and I just sat there bawling my eyes out 😭😭😭

@lykinsamanda, my 3 yr old has night terrors! It’s the worst, setting there not really being of help even though you’re trying your best to comfort them! 😭

My son got them at 2 m till recently. It was sad. He'd cry in his sleep. They can start them. Early. He doesn't seem to get them anymore.

@amber12.ag, @mikailahandbaby, not suppose to disrupt their sleep it can make it worse and scare them even more cuz you have no idea what they are dreaming

My son had them since 6 months old. They got really bad around 2 and he'd actually get up running around screaming and throw himself on the floor like he was having a seizure and holding his head. It was terrifying. He's now on sleep meds for them.

Night terrors are a form of sleep walking. They usually grow out of them, but you have to let them run its course. You can try gently soothing without touching, but it doesn’t work, in my experience. I had them as a child and my son has them occasionally. It’s worse for you than them
