Ladies at how many months did your little one start sitting up? My son will be 7 months tomorrow and my s/o mother asks almost everyday is he sitting on his own yet, he should be sitting already blah blah blah. It's getting annoying she goes to say her other grandson was trying to sit at whatever month and was already sitting up no help at 7months..comparing my son to my s/o brothers son!!! I always answer with..he will sit on his own when he wants too, he's a little lazy and I'm okay with that. I'm in no rush and he isn't either. I'm not worried!!!!

My daughter just turned 7 months and can't sit up on her own yet but she's starting to crawl tho 😩. The doctor told me not to worry about it right now.

Mine is for months and can sit up on her own for a few minutes at a time. But I agree I don’t think you can compare babies at all!

1st off every baby is different and will do things at their own pace. I hate when people compare like that. To answer your question though Jackson has been sitting unassisted since 2 months and now he's 5 months and starting to really have a go at it. He hasn't learned to roll over but is now trying to crawl. Some skip certain milestones and those are mainly "guidelines" on what babies are expected but don't have to necessarily do at a certain age

@mama_of_one I thought my son would do so at 9 months as well. But showed his judgmental grandma he could sit up.

@momofboth he had a dr. Appointment today and she said he's fine to not worry. He started sitting up the day I posted this...showed his grandma

@rachokai and you can't she just can't seem to stop doing that..my son is onky breast feed no formula, she always likes to tell his other son's gf who formula feeds more then breast feeds..how my son has only been breast feed and how much he hates formula. Just rubbing it in..
