Im 38 weeks and still 2 centimeters so i had my check up today and its looking like ill be induce at 40 weeks if i don't go into labor natural. My last pregnancy i went 40 weeks and 2 days and my doctor had to Strip my membranes to make me go into labor my other two kids i had at 37 and 38 weeks
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
Seeing moms go into labor earlier then 40 weeks is stressing me out since my “surprise” baby shower is supposed to be when I’m 38 weeks.... 🙄

@nicolealison im seeing a new doctor and she said she would rather induce me then strip me again

So instead of being induced why don’t you have your membrane swept again and see if that works?
I had mine done at 39 weeks with my daughter and gave birth the very next day
