A week postpartum and I just can’t stand looking at the loads of laundry, I want to do it, should I, I cannot wait for when my hubby will get around to it, because it’ll probably stay like that (but I understand he’s tired from working too) is there any real reason they say wait six weeks? Your thoughts ladies?

@lovingmommy2017, yeah I just needed to do it bad, I couldn’t wait till the weekend. I feel fine though and I’ve practically stopped bleeding already I’m just still sore in my legs and back. My hubby has been so good as far as helping with house stuff even while I was pregnant but I know he’s also tired from working all day and to come home and do laundry isn’t ideal so I get why he hasn’t done it

@momwithavlog I honestly would say no because I had to have stitches too and I didn't listen I hurt myself bad from cleaning the house, just try and take it easy and if you must just ask him to do a chore or two to help you

I did need a couple stitches, he was my biggest baby so it’s super different from my other boys, because with them I was up doing stuff like normal a few days after but never got stitches and they weren’t as heavy but I just did it anyways lol. @orionsmomma

Did you tear or need any stitches?
I didn’t. And because I didn’t I started doing stuff about a week postpartum. I felt fine. And also stopped bleeding a little before 4 weeks PP. I couldn’t stand not doing anything either.
