I had a csection and I had a private room but that was only because they weren't busy and I was the only mum that had a csection and I was in for 3 and a half days in total- 1 day in labour and csection and 2 and a half days after xx

Also in most hospitals now your partner is allowed to stay overnight with you x

You usually have to pay for a private room, also you won’t know who your doctor will be until you are in labour, if everything is ok you can go home after a few hours, I’ve had an emergency section with my first and they were absolutely brilliant also had an elective one with my second and it was absolutely amazing can’t thank the doctors enough for looking after me and my babies x

Hi usually the stay in hospital depends on the condition of mother and baby. I had third degree tear so had to stay in for four day. My dad passed away same day I gave birth so they shifted me to a private room along with my hubby and baby due to my poor condition and upset situation and also permitted him to stay until I got discharged.x
