Hey guys so i am having a hard time deciding if i should bring a car seat on the plane for my daughter or not because it’s just going to be me and her and i won’t have help with it…… so please help i need advice
@dariannar, yeah, I don't blame you. When I flew alone with him I tried to bring as little as possible.
There's this other thing that attaches the carseat to your suitcase, and you can just roll both through the airport, if you're bringing a suitcase. It's more compact than something separate, so if you do choose to bring the carseat it'll cut down on stuff.
@nomli, well she’s never sat in an airplane seat she’s always been in my lap but she sits fine in like the seats at home and at restaurant and since I’m going alone i didn’t want to carry with a lot of things
@dariannar, it's not required, even though it's recommended, but it depends on the child. Since you said she'll sit well in the airplane seat, if you'd rather not deal with it, don't. We've always gotten him his own seat because it's just easier for us, especially when he was a baby.
@nomli, my daughter is 2 so she has her own seat and i wanted to know if i need a car seat and under 2 i never paid for a seat i would carry her i would only have to pay taxes for her
@dariannar, apparently some airlines will give discounted seats for children, but you have to call and ask before booking. I haven't tried it, though, and it may just be for under 2 since over two they have to have their own seat.
We're flying in August and he'll be about the age your daughter is now.
@nomli, my daughter sits well in a regular seat on the ground but i will call the airline to see and she has her own seat on the plane i bought her a full price ticket
@kissesz30, you can bring on any FAA certified carseat (Which is almost all of them now), but only if you buy the child their own seat.
Aw yeah. He's always flown in his carseat, so I don't see him sitting well in a regular seat on his own just yet, especially considering I can't keep him in a seat on the ground haha.
@nomli, she probably would be in the seat most of the time because she would have her toys and things to entertain her but will probably fall asleep on my lap this is the first time i am taking her on the plane that i actually have to buy a plane ticket for her
@kissesz30, well I’m not sure I’ve never travelled with her and the car seat the first time but on the website it says i can
Do they allow you to keep the car seat with you on the plane? I know they usually take mine at the gate and I get it there when we get to our destination.
Would she sit properly in the seat the whole flight without the carseat? I intend to buy one of those carseat rollers that I can strap the seat to, and them put him in it like a stroller, and check the real stroller. There's one that folds up and can stay attached to the seat, but I don't remember the brand.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@nomli, normally when i bring a suitcase it’s to go under and i take a huge duffle bag with me for myself and the baby
