Breast feeding hurts SO bad. I don’t remember it hurting this bad with my daughter :(

Pain is usually latching issues. Shouldn't hurt unless you mean the cramping

@kambam, they’re raw and sore and a little scabby.

The lactation nurses at the hospital said we were doing a great job & he was latching perfectly. So I don’t understand.

Was he evaluated for lip and tongue ties?, it shouldn’t be painful when he’s latched.

Mine hurt for 2 weeks and her latch was perfect. Hang in there and use soothies and lanolin. Watch the latch though because it will make it a lot worse if it's wrong.

My nipples hurt in the beginning too, I would express my milk and rub it on my nipple, and let it air dry, it helped tons!
