I didn't even know my bag broken with my last delivery. I thought I had to just pee but it felt different. I was just leaking non-stop everywhere. I had no other signs of labor until they induced me at the hospital to get him moving along at 20 weeks.

Absolutely! I completely understand. This is my second Rainbow baby and we are expecting him any time now, but the doc will induce me Tuesday.

@sadiesue0718 yesssss...i had no idea what was going on. No symptoms other than water breaking. Come to find out, my cervix is too short and weak. So, with this delivery my doctors had me put on a cerclage, bedrest and want me to carry as close to full term as possible.

@mrscandyjaeburnett, I'm expecting my second 10 lb baby after a nightmare delivery with my first.... My doc agreed that we should induce a day before my due date.

Warning.... nightmare birth story ahead. I went a week over with my daughter and she was 10 lbs. I was in labor for 42 hours with steady contractions. I had to be induced after getting the epidural bc it slowed my contractions down to much. My water broke 3 hours after being induced. I pushed on and off for 3 hours. I was given an episiotomy and still had 3rd degree tears... I puked several times, I know I pooed everywhere..... it's 3.5 years after and I still have a hemeroid hanging around. My daughter got stuck, they had to use the forceps twice to help get her out, and mom said they were REALLY pulling on her! And then she had a cone head for a couple of days. By the time I had her the epidural was wearing off. And she was using my rib as a pushing point, the epic only coveres from the waist down so it felt like she was going to break my rib! I felt like such a whinny bitch with how much I was screaming and crying, then the nurse put a 10 lb baby on my chest and said "here is your monster". Immediately apologized, but I said it was cool, she is a monster...

I didn't even get to deliver with my doctor, he was out of town. So when he read the report of her birth he decided it was a better idea to induce this coming week and hopefully save me from a similar delivery...

@sadiesue0718 yes, we are trying to do the same thing with planning. It worked out the 1st time with our 1st delivery since my bag broken while my husband was at home before going to work. He is just worried about if he goes to work this time around, will we be okay in making it there safely.

@sadiesue0718 Wow! So awesome! I asked my OB if I could could be induced but he was highly recommending to let baby come naturally.

We only have one uber driver in town... but we have taxi cabs, but with the added measure of we have a toddler in a car seat, we are trying to plan more.

Hubby drove me.

This time mom is taking me in at 630 to be induced. Then when aunt gets to our house to watch the toddler hubby will drive himself down to the hospital. That's if baby waits till Tuesday.

@eveerojas He was home for the last delivery and took me but it wasn't a favorable event since baby came too early. He is pretty traumatized and figured my mom would be okay, not so much relying on friends.

@eveerojas thanks! 😊😊😊😊😊 I was feeling a bit out of my mind with just being able to get there safely. I'll have to be sure to really be in tune with baby and my body when it gets closer to the delivery date. My hubby was thinking about it too, wanting to make sure I get there as quickly as possible.

@eveerojas My mom mentioned Uber, since she is not comfortable driving either my husband car or my car, if I go into labor when she visits near the due date.

Okay, wow!! That is lucky! I must be over thinking it because it is driving me crazy on how I am going to get there other than the last resort of an ambulance. I know I will be a little busy being in labor to drive myself.😂😂😂

We don't have any family here, just a couple of friends. My husband's job requires him to drive around, so he is never in the same spot. My mom will be coming from out of town to visit for a couple of weeks near the due date but does not want the responsibility of driving me to the hospital if I go into labor because she doesn't know the town. Although, she has made many visits over the years I've been here, she does not feel comfortable driving.

Luckily it was 8 am when it started so my hubby was able to call off but even If he was he could've gotten out of work as they k ew I was overdue and get home within 20 mins.
