29 pregnant and experiencing a lot of back pain and have always complained to my doctor about. I called today and asked for a light work note cause I can’t take it anymore I’m always on my feet at work and she said I need to be seen first when I literally just saw a doctor Friday (they moved my appointment and had to see someone else) I just don’t get why I need to be seen again when this is an ongoing issue that she knows about. I can’t be leaving work for appointments or showing up late every week, I have. A lot of appointments cause I’m a high risk pregnancy !! Any advice ?!

@kittykatsmeow, I did mention it to my pcp as well. That’s a good idea but I do have an appointment scheduled March 9 with the ob so I’m just going to wait to see her then and will talk to her about I have been missing hours literally the last three weeks cause of appointments I found it very inconsiderate of them
Ask your pcp if possible because when my OB won't do it for me my PCP will he's supet nice about it all
@lulu85_18, so I literally spent all day trying to talk to them and the medical assistant told me I needed to be seen because they want to make sure “I’m okay and it’s nothing more serious” like what could it possibly be ? It’s all pregnancy related so why do I need to be seen again when I have called many times and complained to the doctor about it ? It just seemed so unnecessary to me making me miss hours of work
Unfortunately, it sounds like they are looking for another reason to charge you for an additional visit. Healthcare at its finest. Can you leave a message for your doctor specifically instead of going through the front desk?

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
